The Sea Otter Europe Cycle Tour renews its alliance with La Purito Andorra

The International Sea Otter Europe Cycle Tour has renewed its strategic alliance with one of the largest cyclosportives, La Purito, an event which shares the same passion for cycling and meticulously planned courses. This year, the Sea Otter Europe Cycle Tour has implemented several major changes: it will include two stages and is now part of the prestigious Gran Fondo World Tour, the world’s most important international cyclosportive circuit. The pairing with La Purito strengthens the ties between two races which share highly select routes that combine physical exertion with the pleasure of securely pedalling down roads lined with stunning scenery.

The International Sea Otter Europe Cycle Tour will, on 9 and 10 June, flaunt its international category and heightened global exposure and showcase the excellent roads and stunning natural surroundings of the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees to cyclists from around the world. A course that has been carefully planned and designed by the Sport Ter-Els Bandolers Cycling Club, and for which those interested may register on

The first stage will take place on Saturday, with a 160km course that will take riders to the Costa Brava and begins and ends in Girona. The following day will include two routes: a short 100km route and a 125km route which will explore the best mountain roads in Les Guilleries and Montseny, and which starts and finishes in the Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava-Girona Bike Show.

La Purito Andorra Gran Premio Andbank, on the other hand, will hold its fourth edition on 5 August and also presents several different formulas to adapt to all cycling levels: a long 145km course, an 80km route and a short 28km course, all of which will start in Sant Julià de Lòria and share one common premise: the beauty of Andorra’s roads and mountain landscapes. This event has been organised by Sprint Club Andorra.
